How to Know EverythingHow to Know Everything by Elke Wiss
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I guess I am one of the people who read the title and the cover page and felt that this book would be something it’s not. It’s much more philosophical than I expected. The philosophy part is the (for me) useless filler. It’s something I have read and don’t remember anything about, because it’s not practical nor useful.

Negatives:
I’m not interested in answering the purpose of life or why freedom of speech is important - I want to get to know people! I feel like this book is written as a guide to have the deepest of conversations, which basically never happen and skips the normal conversations.
The 4th chapter also totally did not deliver on the promise made in the book. It did not give me more information on connecting with people more than know from living life.

Final negative is that the book gets a bit rambly at times and isn’t written that well.

Positive:
To give credit where it’s due: The book gave good advice at some points. That’s why it’s getting a 3 start rating from me.

PS: I don’t even remember Sherlock appearing in this book. Why is he on the front and back page of the book? :D
