Amazing story with really good pacing and characters: 5/5

This book is a journey to read through. It’s easy to navigate, it’s quick and made me feel very emotional about the characters and world in some moments.

The book is even more special because I was a little nervous about the fact there are two other books that came earlier in the series.

I bought this book because of the beautiful cover art and because of liking Tchaikowsky’s other works. I haven’t read those other entries into the series, but I feel that it was alright and did not require a lot of work to get up to speed with how this world works. I feel the story also does not have any direct ties to the previous books (it’s just the same world).
